William "Billfred" Leverette is an alumnus of D5 Robotics. He joined the team at its creation in 2004 while a senior at Irmo High School. After graduation, he went on to the University of South Carolina, where he would ultimately become a marketing major, and continued to mentor Team 1293 for two more seasons. Following the 2006 season, he moved to team 1618, Capital Robotics, at the closer-by Columbia High School.
