Yeah, that's about it. I love being involved robotics is great.

Why I'm in D5 Robotics

I've always meant to join a robotics team, but I never did until this year. There is an earlier version, FIRST Robotics Lego League in Middle School but for some reason I never got around to joining, I think it was band. This past summer I went to the summer school at the Governor's School for Science and Mathmatics. While I was there a sophmore class was held in robotics. They made a video about the class and it seemed really cool. I was determined from that point on to join robotics team. I still have yet though to talk CJ into coding the robot to play music...

I soon figured out that building and coding the robot wasn't exactly my thing but talking to people and designing fun things were a few of my strong points. Quickly I started up the fundraising group and joined the competition design team. Then I joined up with my buddy (guy with cool hair)Ian and joined the animation team. Life is good.

Inernet Name: beemusicgeek

"beemusicgeek" is a pretty obvious one. My nickname, Bee, derived from my mom, when she turn our whole family into letters: A (my dad), J (my mom), T (my sister), and B (me). I have since then gone by "B" with my family. So, when it came time for me to do the traditional female right of passage "pass notes" I signed the shorter than Rebecca name, Bee. I added the two e's for cool look and added definitions. Plus I don't like the look of the plain B and writing two e's in cursive is fun.

The "musicgeek" part comes from me being an extreme band geek (I have now lowered to more of a moderate band geek)and I love music in general. The approximate rhyme of "beemusicgeek" also appealed to me
