Hi, my name is Russell Corwin. Two l's, by the way, for those of you that have misspelled it. :P I'm 18 years old, and currently the only member from Chapin on this robotics team. Not my fault. And it's not my fault that I've got a billion other things going on during the week. So, unfortunately, Saturdays are pretty much the only days I'll be making it to meetings.
I have six major loves of my life.
1:Music. I love music. I love playing music, I love listening to music. I have to have some music going whenever I do homework or just walk around or run or drive or anything. Music is amazing.
2:Football. I love football. I love playing football (punt/kick returner, wide receiver, the all-around fast guy you give the ball to for big plays). I also love Michigan football. Like, no joke. Hail to the victors valiant...
3:Track. I love track. I love running hurdles. I love being the Chapin hurdle captain. I love listening to good, krunkfull music (yes, music again) before a big race, I love the feeling of adrenaline right before the gun goes off, I like the feeling of sprinting after clearing the last hurdle. Basically, I like to run fast.
4:Marching Band. I love marching band. Enough said. The Chapin drumline rocks, and so does the Chapin High Marching Band.
5:Space. I love the stars at night, I love the images of galaxies and star clusters and nebulae. I just love the mystery, the possibilities of it. That's why I want to be an aerospace engineer.
6:Katie. This is the best one, by FAR. I love "You and Me" and "I'll Be" and "Wonderful Tonight". I love dinner at the park on a foggy night, being impatient with the stars, Irmo Park, Candy Cane Lane, "Fun With Dick and Jane", "Elizabethtown", iceskating, ducks learning. I love cookies, July 4th fireworks, giving red roses. Most of all, I love the past 20 months.
